2. Zero-database website architecture and how information is received

This website operates without a public customer database or server-side file-upload repository. When you complete fields in our Request a Quote or Fee Calculator forms, your browser formats those entries locally and opens a pre-filled WhatsApp message (wa.me/905055070418) or telephone call only when you choose to initiate contact.

Information we receive when you contact us via WhatsApp or telephone may include your name, company name, role, business contact details, target country, purchasing brief, supplier details and any authorised drawings or quotations you choose to share in that conversation. Standard web-server access and security logs (IP address, request URL, timestamp and user-agent string) are processed by our hosting environment solely for technical delivery and security protection.

Please do not send identity-card scans, payment-card numbers or unrelated sensitive personal data in an initial sourcing enquiry.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We process B2B enquiry information to: (a) review your sourcing or factory-visit request and clarify scope suitability; (b) prepare and negotiate a written service quotation or commercial agreement (steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract under Law No. 6698 / KVKK Art. 5/2(c)); (c) fulfil statutory invoicing, tax and commercial record-keeping obligations where an engagement proceeds (KVKK Art. 5/2(ç) and Art. 5/2(a)); and (d) maintain technical security and handle legal claims under legitimate business interests that do not override fundamental rights (KVKK Art. 5/2(f)).

Enquiry handling is never conditioned on marketing consent, and we do not operate unsolicited mass-marketing lists from enquiry forms.

4. Recipients and third-party communication platforms

Access within CFY is restricted to authorised personnel handling sourcing assessments, field assignments and statutory accounting. Technical product specifications or visit requests are shared with named Turkish suppliers or pre-approved specialist providers only to the extent required by your enquiry or confirmed assignment.

When you choose to communicate via WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Limited / Meta Platforms processes message metadata and content under its own terms and privacy policies, which involve cross-border infrastructure outside Türkiye. If you prefer not to transmit confidential drawings via WhatsApp, contact us first by telephone (+90 505 507 04 18) to arrange an alternative channel.

5. Retention criteria

Unsuccessful B2B enquiries that do not proceed to a written quotation or assignment are reviewed periodically and deleted or archived out of active messaging workflows within 12 months of last correspondence, unless an ongoing dispute requires preservation. Records relating to accepted commercial quotations, invoices and statutory accounting books are retained in accordance with the Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedure Law (typically 5 to 10 years as required by statute). Technical web-server logs are rotated automatically according to hosting security schedules.

6. Your rights and contact channel

Under Article 11 of Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 6698) and other applicable data-protection rules, you may request information on whether your personal data are processed, request correction of inaccurate data, or request deletion/destruction within statutory limits by writing to CFY Mühendislik Mim.
